There are a number of popular myths that USP is too expensive, difficult to erect. And the most interesting fears are expressed in the fact that the insulation is in the ground, under the foundation, and all communications are poured into concrete. There are concerns such as “what if”: ⠀

Extrusion polystyrene foam (XPS) is optimally suited for the installation of the base of the ACP. Due to its physical and mechanical properties, the material has a low coefficient of thermal conductivity (0.034 W / (m * ° C) under operating conditions "A and" B). ⠀

🔸 Water absorption coefficient of not more than 0.4% by volume ⠀

🔸 Biopassive (this means that the material does not attract rodents, and is not subject to the negative effects of insect pests) ⠀

☑ Light weight and ease of processing of insulation, makes all work on the construction of the foundation of the USP easier. Extruded polystyrene foam is easily cut with a knife or a hacksaw, and lateral elements (L-blocks) are quickly assembled on the basis of plates, with the help of which a contour of the future structure is formed.

☑ Thanks to all of the above XPS features, the foundation erection speed is increased by 30% compared to the deep foundation strip foundation. ⠀

☑ One of the main advantages of UWB technology is that after laying concrete and gaining the necessary strength, L-blocks from extruded polystyrene foam do not need to be dismantled, they already act as a ready-made heat-insulating foundation element. ⠀
